What is ReIskra?
ReIskra is an independent web development studio led by Volodymyr Khymych. It helps small and growing businesses build practical websites, online stores, automation and custom digital tools.

- The name ReIskra was built around the idea of a spark — iskra — that can bring back momentum, give a business a new impulse and sometimes a second wind.

- ReIskra is pronounced approximately “reh EES-krah”.

ReIskra is intentionally small. There are no layers of account managers or a large-agency process. Communication stays direct, decisions are faster, estimates are clearer and responsibility stays with the person leading the work.

I have more than eight years of experience in IT, building websites, backend systems, integrations, automations, and digital tools used by real companies and their customers.
My professional journey began in Ukraine, where I studied Computer Engineering at KPI and started my career in software development. I later worked in large international teams on e-commerce platforms, backend services, and microservice-based systems, including projects for a multi-billion-dollar retail business.
That experience taught me to build solutions where not only appearance and functionality matter, but also reliability, performance, security, and ease of use.
I have always enjoyed mathematics, logic, and programming. I like understanding complex problems, finding practical solutions, and turning ideas into systems that genuinely work. For me, development is not simply about writing code. It is about making a business easier to operate, understand, and grow.
Like many Ukrainians, my life changed when the war began, and my next chapter started in the United States. Here I decided to build my own path and work directly with small and medium-sized business owners. Building my own business has given me an even better understanding of the challenges entrepreneurs face: earning customer trust, standing out from competitors, using a limited budget wisely, and avoiding tools that add complexity without delivering real value.
